Ghanaian International Jonathan Mensah is the latest to arrive to the Black Stars camping base in Dubai to complete the provisional 29-man squad unveiled by head coach James Kwesi Appiah last month.
The team is currently holding a three weeks pre-tournament training tour ahead of the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) expected to kick start in Egypt later this month.
The group started their training regimes on Monday but with only 23 plyers. Some players joined the team yesterday except Jonathan Mensah who plays his club football in the United States in the MLS.
According to sources within the camp of the Black Stars, the player joined his colleagues in camp in the early hours of Wednesday, June 5, 2019, to give Coach Kwesi Appiah and his technical team a full house.
Ghana will play two friendly matches against Namibia and South Africa on June 10 and June 15 respectively before making their way to Egypt five days later.
The West African Country has been pitted in Group F of the AFCON together with Benin, Guinea Bissau and defending champions Cameroon.
The team will play its first match in the tournament against the Squirrels of Benin on June 25, 2019 at the Ismaili Sports Stadium.
